Baptism is an important step in our relationship with Jesus Christ. It shows others publicly that we have trusted in Jesus as our savior.
Jesus was baptized here on earth, and we follow His example. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. When a person is Baptized, they are submerged under the water to signify Christ's death and burial and raised out of the water to signify His resurrection.
